One of our learners had the chance to mentor a youth and we love to hear about how everyone benefit from the experience!
“An 18 year old ABA service graduate volunteered with our program for two weeks. He supported a group of 11 to 14 year olds. I observed him telling one of the youth that was having a hard time connecting with the other peers how supportive ABA services has been for him. He encouraged him to participate and went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable. From that day on, that youth was more engaged and would often seek out the volunteer for support. The volunteer’s father called us at the end to thank us for supporting his son and providing him an opportunity to give back to the team.”
