Resource Clinic [6-17 years]
Families may have general information on certain resources but require more detailed information and/or help to apply to these. The Resource Clinic provides you with the opportunity to meet with a Service Coordinator one-to-one. Participants can receive help with exploring community resources (respite programs, childcare/before-and-after school programs, recreational programs, camps etc.) and applying for financial supports (government and charitable funding supports). Parents will learn how to navigate services and complete application forms.
Assistance is provided to parents of children and/or youth 6-17 years old with a confirmed diagnosis. Assistance provided is not specific to any diagnosis.
Note: This is not a drop-in session and appointments should be booked prior to the date you want to attend. If your child is 6-17 years of age, please book an appointment between 1-5 pm. For individuals requesting assistance to complete 2 applications, e.g. Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities (ACSD) and Special Services at Home (SSAH), a 2 hour time slot should be booked. For all other requests, a 1 hour time slot should be booked. There is no childcare available.
