Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) refers to damage that occurs due to alcohol exposure in utero known as Prenatal Alcohol Exposure (PAE). Symptoms and presentation of FASD vary based on the amount of alcohol consumed, when and how it was consumed, pre-existing genetic factors and environmental interactions across the lifespan.
