The Importance of Including Families in Service Planning

The last Language 2 group we had a child that engaged in high rates of head hitting (30 per hour). In the two weeks he was in the group, head hits decreased to 3 per hour.

His parents were incredibly appreciative of the fact that we took such initiative in targeting head hits by conducting Functional Assessments, implementing different strategies and including the family in the planning.
