In-Home ABA
- Services can be funded through the Ontario Autism Program (OAP), or paid for out-of-pocket, through community-based funding or private insurance.
- Goals Include:
- Building daily living and life skills
- Reducing unwanted behaviours such as aggression or self-injury
- Strengthening safety and social skills while exploring the community
- Addressing intrusive thoughts, repetitive behaviours or phobias
Prerequisite Skills
Your child is a great fit if they:
- Would benefit from support in the home or community
- Have clearly defined goals (e.g., communication, life skills, behaviour)
- Thrive with consistent 1-to-1 support in a familiar setting
This program is not suitable if your child:
- Your child needs 2:1 therapy support
- Displays behaviours that could cause significant injury or require emergency help
