Prerequisite Skills
Your child is a great fit if they:
- Engage in back-and-forth conversations
- Use detailed sentences (e.g., “I don’t want to go to the park today because we went yesterday”)
- Are beginning to recognize and describe their own feelings
- Are developing skills to manage emotions when compromise is needed
- Can join a group activity for up to 20 minutes
This program is not suitable if your child:
- Primarily uses simple sentences without added details
- Mostly listens or speaks in conversations without a balanced exchange
- Displays behaviours that could cause injury or require emergency help
