Discovery Day Camp

Your child is a great fit if they:

• Ask for 5+ items using single words, picture exchange, or another communication system
• Follows one step requests such as stop & sit down,
• Able to transitions with a small group- such as leaving the classroom to go to the gym together

This program is not suitable if your child:

• Is not yet using single words or picture exchange to communicate
• Speaks in full sentences (e.g., “I don’t want to go to the park”)
• Asks “who,” “what,” “where,” “when,” and “why” questions
• Displays behaviours that could cause injury or require emergency help
