Caregivers will attend weekly training sessions during your child's session. Details provided upon registration.
Prerequisite Skills
Your child is a great fit if they:
- Enjoy talking about their interests
- Speak in full sentences (e.g., “I don’t want to go to the park”)
- Has some established back-and-forth conversation skills
- Are in a typical classroom placement and working at grade level
- Are interested in making friends and socializing, and may already have one or more friends
- Can sit for a 15- to 30-minute lesson
This program is not suitable if your child:
- Does not yet speak in full sentences
- Rarely asks or answers questions
- Shows little interest in making friends or socializing
- Displays behaviours that could cause injury or require emergency help
