I honestly don’t know where we would be today without the amazing services of Tara and the Blind-Low Vision program.

Tara from the Blind-Low Vision Early Intervention Program at Surrey Place has been the best thing to happen to our daughter Sienna, and to our family. From day one, Tara found a way to make her diagnosis seem less scary and gave us strategies to help support Sienna that were achievable, and that worked. She always sees Sienna for her potential and pushes her to achieve as much as she can. After two years together, Tara knows Sienna as well as our family does. She not only supports her developmental needs, but she educates me, her mom, so that I can be Sienna’s teacher and advocate. Through this program, we have received endless resources, education about our daughter’s condition, and, most importantly, we have been connected to a community of families who are in similar situations. We are so grateful that we found Surrey Place when Sienna was so young. I honestly don’t know where we would be today without the amazing services of Tara and the Blind-Low Vision program.
