Your Feedback Matters

Your feedback is important to us. The information received can help Surrey Place to better support you and/or improve our organization.

We want to hear from our clients, family members, caregivers, employees, community partners, volunteers, students, contractors, consultants, donors and funders. Ways to provide feedback include:

  • Direct Feedback on the Organization and Our Programs and Services
  • Organizational, Program and Services Feedback Surveys and Volunteer Committees
  • Disclosure of Wrongdoing, Rights and Protections (Whistleblower)
  • Reporting Actual or Suspected Abuse or Neglect of Adults Living With Developmental Disabilities

Your feedback is important to us. If you have questions or concerns please speak to a member of your service delivery team.  If you are not comfortable speaking directly to them you can:

  • You will receive a response within 5 business days
  • Surrey Place will investigate and respond to serious complaints within 30 business days
  • Should you not be pleased with the result of your complaint an appeal can be filed

Organizational, Program and Services Feedback Surveys and Volunteer Committees

Do you want to participate in our program and service feedback survey and/or volunteer committees? Connect with a Surrey Place Centre team member to ask about participating in our surveys and committees.

Disclosure of Wrongdoing, Rights and Protections (Whistleblower)

Surrey Place is committed to open and honest communication. We will protect individuals who report in good faith and/ or file a complaint regarding:

  • Serious violations of the Code of Conduct, other Surrey Place policies, legislation and regulations
  • Criminal, illegal and/or fraudulent activities
  • Unethical or dishonest behaviour
  • Financial or operational impropriety

Reporting Actual or Suspected Abuse or Neglect of Adults Living With Developmental Disabilities

The Ministry of Community and Social Services (MCSS) has implemented a dedicated email address and telephone line for anyone to report if they have witnessed abuse or neglect of an adult with a developmental disability.
