Useful Field of View Performance in Parents of Individuals with Autism
Researchers from McMaster University are currently recruiting participants for a study run by Dr. Mel Rutherford. Our study aims to discover Autism’s strengths via using the Useful Field of View task (UFOV). This task helps us to understand cognitive performance when the individual extracts information from a visual field.
We are looking for individuals who:
- Parent(s) of a child/children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Parent(s) of a child/children without a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder
What’s involved:
Participation involves answering some demographic questions and questions about how you prefer to perform activities, and then you will be shown various images, and asked to answer questions about those images to the best of your ability. There is very little risk associated with these activities.. All responses are confidential and participation is voluntary.
Compensation:
Participants will each be given $15 for their participation.
