Is your teen interested in learning about living a more balanced life through nutrition, mindfulness, and movement? Develop foundations for a healthy lifestyle, mental health awareness, and self-care skills by:
- Preparing healthy snacks and meals outlined by our nutritionist
- Practicing mindfulness and self-care through gardening and painting
- Learning about the importance of fitness and movement in mental health through nature walks and gentle yoga
In this multidisciplinary service, your teen will benefit from the collaborative approach across professions, including psychology, nutrition, and behaviour analysis.
Eligibility
WHO SHOULD REGISTER?
Your child might benefit from this group if they:
- Following complex, multi-step instructions
- Speak in full sentences (e.g., "I don't want to go to the park")
- Ask "who", "what", "where", "when", and "why" questions
- Can focus on a group activity for up to 15 minutes
WHO IS NOT A FIT?
Your child or teen may NOT be eligible if they:
- Struggles with back-and-forth conversations including asking and answering questions and making comments
- Displays behaviours that could cause injury or require emergency help
