Surrey Place Resuming Limited In-Person Services

March 30, 2021 by Surrey Place- Staff

UPDATE: Due to the increased spread of COVID-19 cases in the community, we have decided to keep our offices closed and suspend in-home and community visits until further notice. Learn more.

Dear clients, caregivers, and community members,

After our winter holiday break, we decided to keep our offices closed and cancel our in-person services based on the increase in COVID-19 cases.

Today, based public health authorities’ guidelines, we have decided it is safe to resume our in-person services. All our sites, including 2 Surrey Place, East, West and North, will reopen to provide limited in-person services by appointment on Tuesday, April 6.

While we’re looking forward to seeing our clients in person again, please note that we are prioritizing our client appointments based on various factors into three stages:

  • Priority 1: Urgent Health and Safety Focus
  • Priority 2: Critical Need Unmet by Telehealth Services
  • Priority 3: Assessment and Intervention for Active Clients

Our other in-person services, including community and home visits, will also begin for Priority 1 clients at this time. For clients outside of these priority groups, we will continue to work remotely and provide our high-quality Telehealth services. To learn more about our programs and services, please call 1-833-575-KIDS (5437) for children and youth programs and 1-855-372-3858 to learn more about our adult programs.

Stay safe and be well,

Terri Hewitt, Ph.D., C.Psych.
Chief Executive Officer
