New study by ICES finds newborns of Ontario women with developmental disabilities are more likely to be taken into protective custody

November 6, 2018 by Surrey Place- Staff

New study by researchers at ICES finds newborns of Ontario women with developmental disabilities are more likely to be taken into protective custody than peers.

Findings also suggest that evidence-based interventions are needed for maternal support such as the Parenting Enhancement Program at Surrey Place.
