Are you looking to nurture personal growth through nutrition, mindfulness and movement? Fueling Healthy Habits may be right for you! This new interdisciplinary program is facilitated by a Nutritionist, Mental Health Specialist and ABA Therapist, offering a holistic experience for teens to develop healthy relationships with food, body image, and emotional regulation.

- Create Healthy Eating Habits: Learn to nourish their body through hands-on food preparation a nd nutrition education.
- Support Mental Wellness: Guided mindfulness, meditation and movement sessions to promote emotional regulation.
- Build a Supportive Community: Connect with peers through meaningful relationships, reducing feelings of isolation.
Sample Goals
The type of goals your teenager may target in this group include:
- Introductory culinary skills
- Nutritional education to support mental and physical well-being
- Mindfulness and meditation techniques
- Healthy movement practices
- Building relationships with peers
Eligibility
WHO SHOULD REGISTER?
Your child might benefit from this group if they:
- Are interested in learning new skills
- Understand and follow clear instructions.
- Can participate in back-and-forth conversations.
- Can participate in a group setting for 15 to 20 minutes.
WHO IS NOT A FIT?
Your child or teen may NOT be eligible if they:
- Have difficulty with language or communication.
- Require 1-to-1 support.
- May harm themselves, harm others or destroy objects when upset. For longstanding risky behaviours, consider 1-to-1 Focused Behavioural Intervention. For new or escalating, high-risk behaviour, Urgent Response Services may be appropriate.
