Surrey Place offers personalized 1-to-1 Focused Behavioural Intervention using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy to support each child’s (2-18) unique needs. With locations across Toronto, including North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, and downtown, choose from two flexible options:

Behavioural Challenge Focus

Our Behavioural Challenge Focus uses ABA therapy-based Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) and Skill-Based Treatment (SBT) for compassionate, trauma-informed intervention.

IDEAL FOR 

  • Children and teens (2-18) with behaviours like self-harm, aggression, running away, or property destruction.
  • Behaviours that interfere with daily activities and learning.
  • Children who are resistant to instruction or structured tasks.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

  • Exceptional value: Each session includes two clinicians, at least one of whom is a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA).
  • Our team gets expert support from FTF Behavioral Consulting, at no added cost to you.
  • Consent is needed for video recording and third-party consultation to support staff training.

Skill Development Focus

Our Skill Development Focus uses ABA therapy to help kids and teens with autism build skills at their own pace.

IDEAL FOR 

  • Children and teens (2-18) needing extra support one or more days per week.
  • Individuals who need more help than a group program can provide.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Your child will work on personalized goals, like:

  • Communication: Asking for help and expressing needs.
  • Social interaction: Talking and playing with others.
  • Emotional regulation: Managing transitions and big feelings.
  • Daily living: Dressing, hygiene, or toileting.
  • School readiness: Following instructions and classroom routines.
